  1. Thanks for the great story and we are super happy to have made your Godson's day We will continue to hope the best for you as well as you fight your battle, and please let us know if there is anything we can ever do for you!
  2. Welcome man, glad to have you on board! This will be a great costume, we have lots of members that can assist in making things and tips but I think only one person in the 501st has tackled this character so far and I don't know which Garrison he was in. I think it was overseas somewhere lol. Start a build thread in the armory to post progress shots and details and we'll see if we can help out when you need it
  3. Welcome Joseph, we're happy to have you on board with us! A couple of things to help you out with your costume. This is your local 501st chapter and we are here to give you hands on help with your costume search and build. There is also a "Detachment" which deals specifically with Officer costumes, check it out here: http://www.imperialofficer.com/ That forum is specific to the costume you are referring to and has a ton of great information to help you. One word of advice we give to all new members - once you join the forums especially over there take a few minutes to browse the areas and see if you can find the information you need. For example, to get you started: The actual "Getting Started" area lol, it has some good tips: http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/forum/57-getting-started/ Right in that area is the "Resource List" which actually has some options for what you are looking for: http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1817-ioc-costume-resource-list/ Like that, lots of great information you just need to take the time to search it out. Once you get an idea of what you need and want we can help let you know if they are reputable or if we've had any personal experience with the vendors or products. Oh, and I see you got your costume from ebay - we STRONGLY recommend people stay FAR away from purchasing anything on ebay as most of the time it will not be up to standard and is either "recast" or fake or subpar. Do you know who the maker was for your costume? Was it a store or a private seller? And if you want, post a "work in progress" thread where you can share some pictures of what you have so far and this way our Armorer guys can chime in and let you know if you are on the right track.
  4. The "Status Update" area is something new when Gary updated our forums, I've kinda overlooked it until now. I've tried to respond to some things here, please also feel free to come on in and post these GREAT questions on the main boards here we can give a little more attention and response :)
